Henry Broadway, a young man seeking to avenge his father, Isaac Broadway, who was wrongfully executed for murder. Isaac Broadway, on his way to the gallows, tells his estranged son Henry that he was framed and tasks him with finding and killing the corrupt sheriff, Saul Butler, who was responsible. Henry travels to the lawless town of Trinity, pistol in hand and his father’s ashes, only to discover that Sheriff Saul Butler is already dead.
