Sam, a world class secret agent who is also, unfortunately, a terrible maid of honor. Her demanding spy missions often cause her to neglect her duties for her childhood best friend, Betsy, who is about to get married. This leads to friction, and Sam is eventually demoted from maid of honor to a regular bridesmaid.
