Ajay Sanyal, a character modeled after Indian NSA Ajit Doval, launches “Operation Dhurandhar.” He recruits Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a death row inmate from Punjab, and transforms him into an undercover operative named Hamza Ali Mazari. Hamza is sent into the gritty town of Lyari in Karachi, a hotbed for gang wars and corruption. He starts at a humble juice stall run by his handler, Mohammad Aalam, and slowly works his way into the local underworld.
