Jerry, an unemployed roofer who has become deeply entrenched in this ideology after a personal tragedy. He travels the country with his homeschooled son, Joe, delivering self taught legal seminars and advocating for his radical beliefs, including tax evasion and defying authority. As Jerry’s ideology becomes increasingly extreme, Joe begins to question his father’s worldview and longs for a more normal life.
